Elizabeth Howell, At a Glance

Elizabeth Howell is the executive editor of Copyediting Solutions. As an avid reader and with more than three decades of experience, Ms. Howell utilizes her background as an editor and educator in a role that allows her to provide timely, systematic and high-quality written services. Over the past 30 years, Ms. Howell has been dedicated to refining her ever-growing skill set through editing letters, books, short stories, web sites, brochures and resumes. She has written and edited procedures manuals, instructions for completing tasks, and developed many office forms. Ms. Howell attributes her success as an editor to her knowledge of language and her expertise in arranging words to convey meaning. After serving 21 years as a special education teacher, she retired and established Copyediting Solutions, providing copyediting and proofreading services to writers. Ms. Howell looks forward to expanding her business and continuing to grow as an editor and educator. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Utah, a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from California State University at Fullerton, and a Master of Education in Special Education from Arizona State University. She received the Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award for her contributions to the Boy Scouts of America. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Phi Delta Kappa, the National Education Association, Arizona Education Association and Boy Scouts of America.
